Born in Cortona (AR) in 1968, Roberto Lodovichi took his first professional steps in Tuscany and since a young age has worked in some of the most important clubs in the areas of Arezzo and Siena. In 1989 he opened Ristorante La Terrasse in Monte San Savino (AR), a restaurant that is still run by his family today. He followed the experience of Tre Soldi, a theatre in the centre of Foiano della Chiana (AR) converted into a restaurant. Then comes the experience of catering, which leads to the birth of "Lodovichi Ricevimenti - Italian Taste", an activity that Roberto manages together with his brother.
At the same time a restaurant was opened in Arezzo and then, after a few years, the "Maninpasta" format was born, an all-Italian style brand of pasta only, which received much appreciation. It is precisely through Maninpasta that Roberto expresses his philosophy of cooking based on the use of quality raw materials, starting from tradition and always looking to evolution.
At the same time he is active in the ranks of the Italian Cooks Federation, holding the role of President of the Arezzo Cooks Association for two terms. Today he is president of the Unione Cuochi Toscani and is part of FIC Promotion.
